Acarophenacidae adalah sebuah famili dalam ordo Trombidiformes.[1] It contains six genera and around 30 species.[1] Mereka mengalami pengurangan siklus hidup, di mana larva menyelesaikan perkembangannya di dalam induknya; seluruh siklus hidup hanya membutuhkan 4-5 hari.[1]
