Arawe adalah pulau di Papua Nugini, berlokasi di pantai selatan Britania Baru sekitar 100 km dari Tanjung Gloucester. Arawe juga merupakan nama untuk daerah sekitar pulau itu atau terkadang disebut Tanjung Merkus. Di pulau ini terdapat Pelabuhan Arawe yang dapat disinggahi oleh kapal laut. Pada Perang Dunia II terjadi Pertempuran Arawe untuk menguasai wilayah Arawe dan sekitarnya.
