Baasskap
Baasskap merupakan konsep yang merujuk kepada supremasi kulit putih di Afrika Selatan yang digunakan pada zaman aparteid. Kata ini diterjemahkan secara harfiah dari bahasa Afrikaans ke bahasa Inggris sebagai "pemimpin kapal", tetapi terjemahan yang paling sering digunakan adalah "dominasi" atau "supremasi kulit putih"[1] dan kata ini merujuk kepada dominasi oleh bangsa Afrikaner berkulit putih.[2][3] Pendukung baasskap yang terkemuka adalah J.G. Strydom, Perdana Menteri Afrika Selatan dari 1954 hingga 1958 dan C.R. Swart, Menteri Kehakiman.[4]
