Baloskion gracile adalah spesies tumbuhan herba menahun yang ditemukan di dekat Sydney, Australia. Tumbuhan ini berupa rumput teki dengan batang setinggi 30 hingga 100 cm. Habitat yang disukai adalah tanah berpasir yang basah. Ini adalah salah satu dari banyak tanaman yang pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh Robert Brown dengan tipe yang dikenal sebagai "(J. D.) v.v." yang muncul dalam karyanya Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae et Insulae Van Diemen pada tahun 1810. Epitet spesifik gracile yang berarti ramping, merujuk pada batangnya yang tipis.[1][2]
