Christopher Beck Bennett (lahir 1 Oktober 1984[2]) adalah aktor dan komedian asal Amerika Serikat. Dia adalah anggota pemeran serial komedi sketsa NBC Saturday Night Live selama delapan musim, bergabung dengan acara tersebut untuk musim ke-39 pada tahun 2013, dan keluar pada akhir musim ke-46 pada tahun 2021. Sebelum SNL, dia tampil di iklan AT&T "It's Not Complicated", di mana ia mewawancarai anak-anak,[3] dan memproduksi video sketsa dengan grup komedi Good Neighbor.[4][5][6] Ia juga menjadi pembawa acara YouTube Theater of Life.[7]
Kehidupan awal
Bennett lahir di Wilmette, Illinois,[8] putra dari pasangan Sarah dan Andy Bennett. Dia tampil di berbagai pertunjukan di Teater Anak Winnetka.[9] Dia lulus dari SMA New Trier pada tahun 2003 di mana dia berperan sebagai Jean Valjean dalam produksi Les Misérables di sekolahnya.[10] Bennett bersekolah di USC School of Dramatic Arts dalam program BFA Acting.[10]
Kehidupan pribadi
Pada 13 Mei 2016, Bennett memposting foto dirinya bersama pacarnya Jessy Hodges, dengan caption yang menyebutkan bahwa mereka sedang merayakan lima tahun bersama.[11] Mereka menikah pada 25 Agustus 2018.[12] Pada Maret 2022, Hodges mengungkapkan melalui Instagram bahwa dia dan Bennett telah menyambut seorang putra.[13]
Bennett telah berteman dengan sesama anggota pemeran SNL Kyle Mooney sejak mereka masih mahasiswa di Universitas California Selatan.[14]
