Buckleya adalah genus perdu hemiparasit asal Asia dan Amerika dalam keluarga cendana.[1][2] Genus ini dinamai menurut Samuel Botsford Buckley.[3] Buckleya juga dikenal sebagai piratebush.[4] Tumbuhan dari genus ini bersifat dioesius, yang berarti bunga jantan dan betina terdapat pada tanaman yang terpisah.[5]
