Cyclolepis adalah genus monotipe dari tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga Asteraceae.[1] Satu-satunya spesies, Cyclolepis genistoides, berasal dari Amerika Selatan, di mana ia ditemukan di Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, dan kemungkinan Bolivia.[2] Nama umum untuk tumbuhan ini termasuk matorro negro.[3]
Tumbuhan ini merupakan semak halofit yang dominan di beberapa jenis habitat salin, seperti habitat pesisir di dekat Bahía Blanca[4][5] dan rawa garam pedalaman di Argentina tengah.[6]
