Danmei
Danmei (Hanzi: 耽美; Pinyin: dānměi; harfiah: 'indulging beauty') adalah genre sastra Tiongkok dan media fiksi lainnya yang menampilkan hubungan romantis antara karakter pria. Danmei biasanya dibuat dan ditargetkan untuk pemirsa perempuan heteroseksual.[1] Meskipun karya danmei dan adaptasinya telah mencapai popularitas luas di Tiongkok dan secara global, status hukumnya masih belum jelas karena kebijakan sensor Tiongkok.[2] Perbandingan versi perempuan berjenis kelamin sama dari danmei dikenal sebagai bǎihé (Hanzi: 百合; harfiah: 'lilies'), yang merupakan peminjaman ulang ortografis dari kata Jepang yuri, tetapi tidak setenar atau sepopuler danmei.[3]
