Dis-Allowed adalah singel solo debut Ade Paloh yang dirilis pada tahun 2020 di bawah nama proyek solonya, Drs. F. Achmar. Lagu ini menandai eksplorasi musikal Ade Paloh di luar aktivitasnya bersama SORE, dengan tetap mempertahankan karakter lirik puitis dan pendekatan musik yang khas dalam karya-karyanya. Dis-Allowed dirilis melalui Podium Records pada 31 Januari 2020.[1]
Latar Belakang
Dis-Allowed adalah singel solo debut Ade Paloh yang dirilis di bawah nama proyek solonya, Drs. F. Achmar. Lagu ini ditulis pada Januari 2015 dan baru dirilis kepada publik pada 31 Januari 2020 melalui Podium Records. Sebelumnya, lagu tersebut merupakan bagian dari kumpulan materi dalam album kaset The Mythical Monster Called Hope yang dirilis secara terbatas pada Record Store Day Indonesia 2015.[1]
Secara tematis, "Dis-Allowed" mengangkat kisah tentang keikhlasan dalam menerima aral hidup, yang diibaratkan seperti menjalani kehidupan di Pegunungan Sierra Madre, California, dan beradaptasi dengan alam sebisanya.[1]
