EasyWriter
EasyWriter adalah pengolah kata yang pertama ditulis untuk komputer seri Apple II tahun 1979, pengolah kata pertama untuk platform tersebut.[1] Program ini ditulis oleh Cap's Software milik John Draper, yang juga membuat Forth, bahasa pemrograman yang dipakai untuk mengembangkan EasyWriter.[2]
Program ini kemudian dipindahkan ke IBM PC dan dirilis ketika PC diluncurkan tahun 1981.[3][4]
Draper mengembangkan EasyWriter pada salah satu masa hukumannya, yaitu saat ia harus masuk ke penjara Alameda County pada malam hari walaupun dapat bekerja di kantor pada siang hari.[1][3][5]
