Email Limoges

Email Limoges dibuat di Limoges, di barat daya Prancis, sepanjang berabad-abad sampai sekarang. Terdapat dua periode di mana karya tersebut berpengaruh di Eropa. Dari abad ke-12 sampai 1370, terdapat industri besar yang memproduksi benda-benda metal yang dihias dalam email memakai teknik champlevé, di mana kebanyakan barang yang ada (diperkirakan berjumlah sekitar 7,500 karya),[1] dan mungkin sebagian besar produksi asli, adalah objek-objek keagamaan seperti relik.
