Flamingo kecil (Phoeniconaias minor) adalah spesies flamingo yang hidup di Afrika sub-Sahara dan India bagian barat.[4] Burung-burung ini terkadang dilaporkan datang dari wilayah utara, tetapi umumnya dianggap sebagai burung vagrant (ditemukan diluar sebaran alaminya).
Ciri
Flamingo kecil adalah spesies flamingo terkecil. Bobotnya berkisar antara 1,2 hingga 2,7 kg (2,6 hingga 6,0 pon).[5] Tingginya saat berdiri berkisar antara 80 hingga 90 cm (31 hingga 35 in).[6][7] Panjang totalnya (dari paruh ke ekor) dan rentang sayapnya tidak jauh berbeda, dari 90 hingga 105 cm (35 hingga 41 in).[6][8] Kebanyakan dari bulunya berwarna putih kemerah mudaan.
