Gempa bumi Chittagong 1997 (juga dikenal sebagai Gempa bumi Bandarban) terjadi pada 21 November pukul 11.23 UTC di wilayah perbatasan Bangladesh-India-Myanmar. Gempa tersebut berkekuatan 6,1 skala magnitudo. Episentrum gempa berada di Mizoram selatan, India. Tidak ada korban jiwa yang dilaporkan di sana, tetapi 23 orang tewas di Chittagong, Bangladesh ketika sebuah gedung berlantai lima runtuh.[2][3] Guncangannya juga terasa di Dhaka.[4]
