James Alfred Conrad Cammack Jr. (lahir 15 April 1956) adalah bassis jazz Amerika dari Cornwall, New York.
Karier
Selama hampir tiga puluh tahun, bermain bass untuk Ahmad Jamal.[1] Album solo debutnya, Both Sides of the Coin, dirilis pada tahun 2012.[1] Before joining Jamal in 1983, he played in U.S. Army bands.[1] Pada usia delapan belas tahun pada tahun 1974, ia menjadi anggota West Point Army Band sebagai pemain terompet, meskipun ia sedang belajar bass.[1] Dia bermain untuk The Jazz Knights dan pada akhir pekan tampil di resor di pegunungan Catskill di New York.[1] Untuk pengaruh terbesar pada bass, dia mencantumkan Israel Cosby, George Duvivier, dan Milt Hinton.[1]
