Juncus edgariae adalah spesies rumput teki (rush), yang umum disebut sebagai Edgar's rush atau wīwī, yang endemik di Selandia Baru.[1]
Spesies ini dideskripsikan pada tahun 2001 oleh Lawrie Johnson dan Karen Wilson.[2][3] Spesies ini sebelumnya sering tertukar dengan Juncus gregiflorus, yang kini dianggap endemik di Australia.[4] Nama spesies edgariae diberikan untuk menghormati ahli botani Selandia Baru, Elizabeth Edgar.[3]
Juncus edgariae merupakan spesies rumput teki yang paling melimpah di Selandia Baru dan tersebar luas di seluruh wilayah tersebut, termasuk Kermadec dan Kepulauan Chatham. Umum ditemukan mulai dari pesisir hingga perbukitan, tanaman ini biasanya berada di semak belukar terbuka, tempat-tempat yang basah secara musiman, atau di sekitar tepi lahan basah. Spesies ini telah diperkenalkan ke Inggris.[4]
