Leupaxin adalah protein yang pada manusia dikodekan oleh gen LPXN.[3][4]
Produk yang dikodekan oleh gen ini lebih sering diekspresikan dalam sel hematopoietik dan paling homolog dengan protein adhesi fokal, paxillin. Ini dapat berfungsi dalam pensinyalan jenis sel khusus melalui penggabungan dengan PYK2, yang merupakan anggota keluarga kinase adhesi fokus. Sebagai substrat untuk tirosin kinase pada sel limfoid, protein ini juga dapat berfungsi, dan diatur oleh aktivitas tirosin kinase.
