Macledium adalah genus tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili Asteraceae.[2] Baik Macledium maupun Dicoma tersebar luas di Afrika tropis dan selatan.[3] Macledium dibedakan dari genus Dicoma oleh sejumlah besar karakter yang berkaitan dengan morfologi dan anatomi filari, mahkota bunga (korola), benang sari (anter), putik (stilus), buah (sipsela), dan kulit biji (testa).[2]
