Molinadendron adalah genus dari keluarga Hamamelidaceae, ordo Saxifragales, yang mencakup tiga spesies yang dilaporkan: Molinadendron guatemalense, Molinadendron hondurense, dan Molinadendron sinaloense.[1] Kerabatnya termasuk Hamamelis (witch-hazel) dan Corylopsis (winter-hazel).
Molinadendron sinaloense adalah pohon hijau abadi yang berasal dari kawasan hutan di Meksiko bagian barat. Pohon ini mencapai tinggi hingga 20 ft (6,2 m). Daunnya berbentuk oval, meruncing, dengan panjang 3-6 inci (7,6-15,2 cm), terbuka dengan warna keunguan dan tembaga pada cabang-cabangnya yang anggun.
