Nekrofobia
Nekrofobia adalah ketakutan yang tidak rasional terhadap hal-hal yang mati (seperti mayat) serta hal-hal yang berkenaan dengan kematian (contohnya peti mati, makam, pemakaman). Dalam artian budaya, istilah nekrofobia juga dapat digunakan untuk menyebut ketakutan yang dimiliki oleh suatu kelompok akan orang mati, seperti misalnya ketakutan bahwa roh orang mati akan kembali dan menghantui orang-orang yang masih hidup.[1]
Kata nekrofobia berasal dari bahasa Yunani nekros (νεκρός) yang berarti "mayat", dan phobos (φόβος) yang bermakna "ketakutan".[2]
