Neocarya adalah genus tumbuhan dalam keluarga Chrysobalanaceae yang dideskripsikan sebagai genus pada tahun 1976.[1][3]
Genus ini hanya berisi satu spesies yang diketahui, Neocarya macrophylla, yang berasal dari Afrika bagian barat dan tengah mulai dari Senegal hingga Nigeria, serta di Sudan Selatan. Tumbuhan ini secara umum dikenal dalam bahasa Inggris sebagai Gingerbread Plum, meskipun tidak berkerabat dengan plum sejati (spesies Prunus).[2]
