Nepenthes maximoides adalah kantong semar tropis yang endemik di Luzon, Filipina, yang menjadikan jumlah total spesies Nepenthes di pulau ini menjadi delapan, dengan semua spesies kecuali satu adalah endemik. Nepenthes maximoides sangat mirip dengan N. maxima dalam hal kantong atasnya yang besar, spektakuler, dan berbentuk corong sempit, serta tutupnya yang memiliki pelengkap basal melengkung ke belakang dan berbentuk filiform yang tidak terlihat pada spesies Filipina lainnya.[1]
