OpenVMS
OpenVMS, sering disebut sebagai VMS,[1] adalah sistem operasi multipengguna, multipengolahan, dan berbasis memori virtual. Sistem operasi ini dirancang untuk mendukung pembagian waktu, pemrosesan tumpak, pemrosesan transaksi, dan aplikasi stasiun kerja.[2] Pengguna OpenVMS termasuk bank dan layanan keuangan, rumah sakit dan layanan kesehatan, operator telekomunikasi, layanan informasi jaringan, dan produsen industri.[3][4] Selama tahun 1990-an dan 2000-an, terdapat sekitar setengah juta sistem VMS yang beroperasi di seluruh dunia.[5][6][7]
