Panda adalah genus tumbuhan dari famili Pandaceae. Genus ini hanya memiliki satu spesies yang diketahui, yaitu Panda oleosa, yang berasal dari Afrika barat dan tengah (Liberia, Ghana, Guinea, Pantai Gading, Nigeria, Cabinda, Gabon, Republik Afrika Tengah, Kongo-Brazzaville, Kamerun, Zaire).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Simpanse telah diamati memukul-mukul kacang dari Panda oleosa, yang dikenal sangat keras untuk dibuka.[8]
Manusia memasak dan memakan bijinya serta menggunakan minyak yang dihasilkan dari biji tersebut untuk persiapan makanan; kayunya digunakan untuk membuat kano dan untuk keperluan pertukangan.[9]
