Pangbourne, adalah sebuah desa besar dan paroki sipil di Sungai Thames di Berkshire, Inggris. Pangbourne memiliki toko sendiri, sekolah, stasiun kereta api di Jalur utama Great Western dan balai desa. Di luar kawasan maju yang dikelompokkan terdapat juga sekolah mandiri, Pangbourne College. Desa ini terletak di Berkshire Barat, terletak di sisi Sungai Thames dan di seberang tepi sungai ke Whitchurch-on-Thames, menandai perbatasan dengan Oxfordshire.[3]
Geografi
Pangbourne terletak di Jalan A329 6 mil (10 km) di sebelah barat Reading, kota terdekat, dan 22 mil (35 km) tenggara dari Oxford. Letaknya di seberang sungai dari Oxfordshire desa Witchurch-on-Thames. Kedua desa dihubungkan oleh Witchurch Bridge dan oleh bendung yang dapat dilalui Witchurch Lock.[4] River Pang mengalir melalui pusat desa Pangbourne sebelum bergabung dengan Thames antara Whitchurch Lock dan jembatan Whitchurch.[4] Sebagian besar area yang dikembangkan tepat di atas dataran banjir saat ini dari Sungai Thames yang mendapat manfaat dari padang rumput yang secara tradisional digunakan sebagai padang rumput banjir di kedua sisi Pangbourne.
