Pudong
Pudong (浦东, pinyin: Pǔdōng), resminya Pudong New District (浦东新区, pinyin: Pǔdōng Xīn Qū), adalah sebuah distrik Shanghai, Cina. Sejak permulaan pengembangannya pada 1980-an, Pudong telah menjadi pusat finansial dan komersial China.
Di Pudong terletak Bandar Udara Internasional Pudong Shanghai.
Lokasi dan geografi
Pudong secara harfiah berarti Timur Huangpu. Pudong dibatasi oleh Sungai Huangpu di barat dan Laut China Timur di timur. Distrik ini memiliki luas wilayah 522,8 km² dan dengan populasi sekitar 1,5 juta orang. Pudong berlawanan dengan Puxi, bagian tua dari Shanghai di tepi barat sungai Huangpu.
Pudong merupakan distrik yang besar dan di kemudian hari akan dibagi menjadi distrik administratif yang lebih kecil.
