Radar tipe 346
Radar Tipe 346 ( NATO / OSD Dragon Eye ) adalah radar array pindai elektronik aktif (AESA) pita S angkatan laut yang dikembangkan di Republik Rakyat Tiongkok oleh Institut Riset Teknologi Elektronik Nanjing. Radar ini telah menjadi komponen integral sistem pertahanan udara angkatan laut Tiongkok sejak mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2004 dengan kapal perusak Tipe 052C, kapal perang Tiongkok pertama yang memiliki kemampuan pertahanan udara area.[1]

Perkembangan
Tipe 346 dikembangkan oleh Institut Penelitian Teknologi Elektronik Nanjing. Pengembangan lebih lanjut mungkin dibantu dengan pemeriksaan teknologi asing; kapal perusak Tipe 051C menggunakan antena Flap Lid phased-array Tombstone 30N6EI dari Rusia, dan pada tahun 2004 prototipe radar phased-array aktif pita C dan paket desainnya dibeli dari Biro Desain Kvant Ukraina.
Varian
- Tipe 346
Versi awal. Rangkaian ditutupi oleh panel cembung. Mulai beroperasi dengan kapal perusak Tipe 052C.
- Tipe 346A
Versi ini dilaporkan memiliki jangkauan 400 km. dan menggunakan panel penutup datar. Ia mulai beroperasi dengan kapal perusak Type 052D.
- Tipe 346B
Versi ini menggunakan panel yang 40% lebih besar dari Type 346A sehingga jangkauannya dilaporkan meningkat 60%. Versi ini mulai digunakan oleh kapal perusak Type 055.
