Richard Hakluyt (/ˈhæklʊt, ˈhæklət, ˈhækəlwɪt/;^[1] 1553 – 23 November 1616) adalah seorang penulis Inggris. Ia dikenal karena mempromosikan kolonisasi Inggris di Amerika Utara melalui karya-karyanya, khususnya Divers Voyages Touching the Discoverie of America (1582) dan The Principal Navigations, Voyages, Traffiques and Discoveries of the English Nation (1589–1600).
