Roman Osipovich Jakobson (bahasa Rusia: Рома́н О́сипович Якобсо́н; 11 Oktober 1896 – 18 Juli 1982)^[1][2] adalah seorang pakar teori sastra dan linguis Rusian-Amerika. Seorang pionir linguistik struktural, Jakobson merupakan salah satu linguis paling disanjung dan berpengaruh pada abad kedua puluh.
