Salad Shopska

Salad Shopska adalah salad khas Bulgaria yang dikenal sebagai salah satu simbol kuliner negara tersebut. Salad ini bahkan menjadi salah satu makanan nasional Bulgaria yang paling dicintai. Bahan-bahannya sederhana, terdiri dari tomat merah, mentimun segar, paprika hijau, bawang merah dan keju putih Bulgaria yang mirip dengan keju feta dengan rasa lebih asin.

Salad ini biasanya diberi taburan parsley segar dan disiram dengan minyak bunga matahari atau minyak zaitun. Keju putih parut yang ditaburkan di atasnya adalah ciri khas utama Shopska Salata, memberikan sentuhan rasa gurih yang menyatu sempurna dengan bahan lainnya.[1]
