Serruria decipiens, atau yang dikenal sebagai Sandveld spiderhead, adalah semak berbunga yang termasuk dalam genus Serruria. Tumbuhan ini merupakan bagian dari bioma fynbos.[2] Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Western Cape, di mana ia hanya ditemukan di Sandveld, Hopefield, Cape Flats, Piketberg, dan Pegunungan Sungai Olifants. Semak ini berbentuk bulat dan tumbuh setinggi 1,0 m serta berbunga dari bulan Juli hingga Oktober.[3]
Kebakaran menghancurkan tanaman ini tetapi bijinya tetap bertahan. Dua bulan setelah berbunga, buahnya akan jatuh dan semut menyebarkan bijinya. Semut menyimpan biji-biji tersebut di dalam sarang mereka. Tanaman ini bersifat biseksual. Penyerbukan terjadi melalui bantuan serangga. Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di tanah berpasir pada ketinggian 0–250 m.[3]
