Simurghia adalah sebuah genus pterosaurus dari Cekungan Ouled Abdoun di Maroko, yaitu sebuah cekungan yang berasal dari subkala Maastrichtium pada periode Kapur Akhir, sekitar 66 juta tahun lalu. Namanya dipublikasikan pada 2018 oleh paleontolog Nicholas R. Longrich, David M. Martill, dan Brian Andres, bersamaan dengan dua pterosaurus lainnya dari cekungan yang sama: Alcione dan Barbaridactylus.[2] Spesies tipenya adalah S. robusta. Sebuah kemungkinan spesies kedua, S. ("Nyctosaurus") lamegoi, diketahui dari lapisan Kampanium-Maastrichtium dari Brasil.[1][2]
