Indeks Hang Seng
Indeks Hang Seng Index (disingkat: HSI, Tionghoa: 恒生指數) adalah sebuah indeks pasar saham berdasarkan kapitalisasi di Bursa Saham Hong Kong. Indeks ini digunakan untuk mendata dan memonitor perubahan harian dari perusahaan-perusahaan terbesar di pasar saham Hong Kong dan sebagai indikator utama dari performa pasar di Hong Kong.
Indeks Hang Seng terdiri dari 80 konstituen yang terbagi dalam 4 sektor: Financial (keuangan), Utility {utilitas), Property (developer), Comerce & Indusry (perdagangan & industri}. Ke-80 perusahaan tersebut mewakili 65% kapitalisasi pasar di bursa ini atau merupakan saham-saham blue chips di Hong Kong. Beberapa konstituen yang familiar diantaranya HSBC, AIA, Bank of China, Lenovo, Xiaomi dan lain-lain.
HSI dimulai pada 24 November 1969 dirangkuml dan dirawat oleh HSI Services Limited, yang omerupakan anak perusahaan penuh dari Hang Seng Bank, bank terbesar ke-2 di Hong Kong berdasarkan kapitalisasi pasar. Perusahaan ini bertanggung jawab untuk membuat, menerbitkan, dan mengatur Indeks Hang Seng dan beberapa indeks saham lainnya, seperti Hang Seng Composite Index, Hang Seng HK MidCap Index, dll.
