John Alan Lasseter (lahir 12 Januari 1957) adalah seorang animator, sutradara Amerika Serikat, dan pejabat kreatif tertinggi di Pixar dan Walt Disney Animation Studios. Ia saat ini juga menjabat sebagai Kepala Penasihat Kreatif untuk Walt Disney Imagineering.[1]
Pekerjaan pertama Lasseter adalah animator di The Walt Disney Company. Kemudian, ia bergabung dengan Lucasfilm, tempat ia bekerja pada penggunaan animasi CGI. Setelah Grup Grafis Divisi Komputer Lucasfilm dijual ke Steve Jobs dan menjadi Pixar pada tahun 1986, Lasseter terlibat dalam semua film Pixar dan proyek terkait sebagai produser eksekutif dan ia menyutradarai Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Cars, dan Cars 2.
Ia telah memenangkan dua Academy Awards untuk kategori Animated Short Film (Tin Toy), serta Special Achievement Award (Toy Story).[2]
