Tetsuzō Iwamoto (岩本 徹三, Iwamoto Tetsuzō) (15 Juni 1916 – 20 Mei 1955) adalah seorang pilot pesawat tempur Pasukan Udara Angkatan Laut Kekaisaran Jepang. Dia memasuki Angkatan Laut Kekaisaran Jepang pada tahun 1934 dan menyelesaikan pelatihannya pada bulan Desember 1936. Pertempuran pertamanya terjadi di Tiongkok pada awal 1938. Dia menjadi sebagai penerbang ulung Kekaisaran Jepang dengan skor bunuh tertinggi selama Perang Dunia II, yang mendapat kepercayaan setidaknya 87 kemenangan udara termasuk 14 kemenangan di Tiongkok. Selanjutnya, dia menerbangkan Mitsubishi A6M Zero dari kapal Zuikaku dari bulan Desember 1941 sampai Mei 1942, termasuk di Pertempuran Laut Koral. Pada akhir 1943, grup udara Iwamoto dikirim ke Rabaul, Britania Baru, melakukan pertempuran udara selama tiga bulan melawan serangan udara Sekutu.[1][2]
