Triakis adalah sebuah spesies hiu jaras dalam famili Triakidae.[2] Namanya berasal dari kata bahasa Yunani Kuno τρι- (tri-) yang bermakna "tiga", dan kata Latin acis yang berarti "tajam" atau "runcing", yang merujuk kepada giginya yang beruncing tiga.
