Tsavo
Tsavo adalah sebuah kawasan yang terletak di Kenya.[1] Di kawasan ini terdapat dua taman nasional, yaitu Taman Nasional Tsavo Timur dan Tsavo Barat.
Makna kata Tsavo sendiri masih belum jelas, tetapi akibat konflik kesukuan, suku Kamba menyebut kawasan ini sebagai tempat "pembantaian". Sebelum Britania mengakhiri perdagangan budak pada akhir abad ke-19, Tsavo dilintasi oleh karavan-karavan yang terlibat dalam perdagangan budak trans-Sahara.
Fauna
Beberapa fauna yang umum ditemui di kawasan Tsavo meliputi gajah semak afrika, jerapah, kerbau afrika, gazelle, klipspringer, kudu, macan tutul, singa, dan cheetah.
