Veropedia adalah proyek ensiklopedia daring bebas berbasis ads-supported yang diluncurkan pada Oktober 2007. Proyek ini menampilkan artikel-artikel dari Wikipedia bahasa Inggris, yang diseleksi melalui kriteria-kriteria Veropedia dan versi stabil artikel akan muncul di situs. Daniel Wool sebagai pendiri Veropedia[1] pernah menjadi editor di Wikipedia dan pegawai di Yayasan Wikimedia.[2]
Situs ini memiliki banyak kemiripan dengan Wikipedia, tetapi terdapat penekanan yang membedakan keduanya, yakni seleksi kualitas penulisan artikel, pembatasan kontributor dan layanan iklan di artikel. Terdapat lebih dari 5.800 artikel yang berasal dari Wikipedia yang dimuat di Veropedia pada Oktober 2008, akan tetapi situs ini secara tidak resmi aktif 3 bulan setelahnya.[3]
