Wiko adalah anak perusahaan Prancis yang didirikan oleh Tinno Mobile, perusahaan induknya di Tiongkok, untuk menjual ponsel pintarnya yang diproduksi di Tiongkok.[1]
Sejarah
Wiko didirikan pada Februari 2011 oleh pengusaha Prancis Laurent Dahan.[1] Kantor pusat, desain, dan tim pemasarannya berbasis di Marseille.[1]
Wiko mengirimkan 2,6 juta perangkat secara keseluruhan pada tahun 2013, sebagian besar merupakan ponsel pintar Android dual SIM.[1] Tahun itu, Wiko menjual 1,7 juta ponsel pintar di Prancis,[2] atau tujuh persen dari pasar Prancis,[1][3] dan Wiko adalah perusahaan ponsel pintar terlaris kedua di negara itu setelah Samsung.[4]
