Zmanim
Zmanim (Ibrani: זְמַנִּים, secara harfiah artinya "waktu", tunggal zman) adalah waktu selama sehari dalam hukum Yahudi. Dalam hukum Yahudi, tanggal kalender diartikan berjalan dari "sore" ke "sore". Ini berdasarkan pada penyebutan peribahasa "... dan terdapat sore, dan terdapat pagi ..."—sore mendahului pagi—dalam catatan penciptaan dalam Kitab Kejadian.[1] Selain itu, hukum Yahudi mewajibkan kegiatan tertentu untuk dilakukan "pada siang hari"—atau waktu tertentu pada siang hari—sementara kegiatan lain dilakukan pada "malam hari"—atau waktu tertentu pada malam hari.
