Dr Bit-Tuner (* 1978 z St. Galla, bürgerlich Marcel Gschwend) isch an Schwiizer Musiker, wo hüt z Züri wohnt. Sini elektronischi Musik isch hauptsächlich am Genre Dubstep zuagordnet, aber prägt vu elektronischa Instrument.
Dr Bit-Tuner brucht MPC, Synthesizer, Computer, an elektronische Bass und a Huufa analogi Effekt in sina Liader. Er schafft au vil mit alta Vinyl-Ufnahma. Ds Resultat sind oft schweri, langsami Beats und stampfendi Bäss mit ara tunkla Atmosphära.[1]
Er komponiert au Musik für ds Tanztheater, zum Bischpiil für d Tanzkompanie vum Theater St. Galla, cie. sans filtre z Züri und Compagnie Buffpapier z St. Galla.
Mittem Rapper Dani Göldin hät er vier Album veröffentlicht, und au a Remix-EP als Göldin & Bit-Tuner uffem Label Quiet Records in Züri.
Anderi Kollaborationa sind entstanda, z. B. mittem Egogrill oder am Rapper Omega Takeshi vu 88:komaflash (Müncha), audio88 us Berlin/Neuölln oder Sensational vu Wordsound Recoding z New York City.
Im Dezember 2009 isch sis zweita Album „Low-Speed Detonation“ uffam Trepok-Records-Label z Züri erschina.
