Geografi
Cormoret ligt im Schwizer Jura im Vallon de Saint-Imier. D Gmeindsflächi bsteit us 52,1 % langwirtschaftlecher Flächi, 44 % Waud, 3,3 % Sidligsflächi u 0,7 % süschtigi Flächi.[2] D Nachburgmeinde si Villeret, Nods u Courtelary im Kanton Bärn u Les Breuleux im Kanton Jura.
Gschicht
Cormoret isch zum erschte Mal gnennt worde im Jahr 1178 aus Cormoret. Bis zum 31. Dezämber 2009 het d Gmeind zum Bezirk Courtelary ghört.
