Activision je američka kompanija za distribuciju i razvoj video igara. Trenutni direktor je Robert A. Kotick. Kompanija je osnovana 1. oktobra 1979. Najpoznatija je po izdavanju jednog od najigranijih ratnih serijala "Call of Duty", te serijala Prototype, Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk. Activision je najveća izdavačka kuća za videoigre na svijetu. Sarađuje s Microsoft-om, te sestrinskom firmom "Activision Blizzard".
25. jula 2013., Activision Blizzard je objavio da je kupio 429 miliona dionica čiji je vlasnik bio Vivendi, vrijednosti 2.34 milijardi US$. Time je Activision Blizzard postao nezavisna kompanija.[1]
