Alativ
Alativ (od lat. allāt-, afferre "prinositi") je lokalni padež. Odnosi se na mjesto, preciznije, smjer.[1] Javlja se u litvanskom, letonskom, mađarskom, finskom i estonskom jeziku.
Ugro-finski jazici
U finskom alativ se tvori nastavkom -lle. Koristi se kod izražavanja:
- priložne odredbe mjesta:
- Menen pöydälle. - Idu ka stolu.
- funkcije dativa (kojeg finski jezik nema), tu odgovara na pitanja Kome? Čemu?:
- Sano minulle. - Reci mi.
- Radnje koja uključuje dalju akciju:
- Hän lähti kalalle. - Otišao je na ribolov.
- Dojam :
- Tunnun hyvälle. -Osjećam se dobro.
U estonskom se alativ koristi isto kao i u finskom, čak imaju isti nastavak -le. U mađarskom se tvori pomoću nastavaka -hoz/-hez/-höz, ali upotreba varira u odnosu na balto-finske jezike.
