Astragal
Astragal[1] je arhitektonski izraz za profilaciju sastavljenu od polukružne površine okružene sa dvije ravne površine. Astragal se ponekad opisuje i kao minijaturni torus. U arhitekturi se koristi na vrhu platforme stuba ali se također koristi i kao rešetkasta komponenta namještaja.
Riječ "astragal" dolazi od grčke i latinske riječi za "kralježak".
