U računarstvu, termin benchmark (u slobodnom prijevodu - mjerenje mogućnosti računara) je rezultat rada nekog računarskog programa ili grupe programa u cilju da se prikupe informacije o kvalitetu i mogućnostima nekog objekta, najčešće nekog hardvera ili softvera. Termin benchmark se koristi i u posebno napravljenim programima koji služe za isprobavanje mogućnosti računara te testiranje njegove brzine i sličnih testova, a najčešći primjer takvog programa je 3DMark. Najčešće se uspoređuju hardver i njegove mogućnosti, tako se na primjer kod procesora testira floating point operacija, uz ostale sastavne stvari koje se tiču brzine i mogućnosti procesora.
