Cradle of Filth je engleska grupa ekstremnog metala osnovana 1991. godine. Za ovu grupu karakteristično je mijenjanje i kombinovanje žanrova metala koje sviraju, pa bi se moglo reći da je ona danas black, gothic, heavy metal grupa. Za razliku od ostalih black metal grupa koje su pretežno underground (tj. nekomercijalne), Cradle of Filth je upravo suprotno. Zbog toga, prema navodima časopisa Metal Hammer, Cradle of Filth smatra se jednom od najuspješnijih engleskih grupa.
