Doctor Who
Doctor Who jest britanska naučnofantastična televizijska serija koja se od 1963. emitira na BBC-ju. Prati pustolovine Doktora, gospodara vremena s planete Gallifrey, koji putuje kroz svemir u vremeplovu TARDIS-u. Vremeplov je prerušen u plavu telefonsku govornicu, koja je bila česta pojava u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu kada se serija počela emitirati (1963). Doktor, uz pratnju mnogih saputnika, bori se protiv raznih neprijatelja te mu je cilj spašavanje civilizacija i pomaganje ljudima u nevolji.
Serija je postala značajni dio britanske popularne kulture,[1][2] a drugdje je stekla kultni status. Utjecala je na generacije britanskih televizijskih profesionalaca koji su uz nju odrasli.[3]
