FileZilla je besplatni softver, više-platformski FTP program, koji se sastoji od FileZilla Klijenta i FileZilla Servera. Dostupan je za operativne sisteme Windows, Linux i macOS, dok je instalacija servera moguća samo za Windows. Server i klijent podržavaju FTP i FTPS (FTP preko SSL/TLS ), dok se klijent može povezati i sa SFTP serverima.
Izvorni kod FileZille nalazi se na SourceForgeu, a projekt je predstavljen kao Projekt mjeseca u novembru 2003.[1] Međutim, FileZilla je bila predmet kritika zbog ubacivanja štetnog softvera koji je prikazivao reklame.[2]
Do verzije 3.26, FileZilla je pohranjivao spašena korisnička imena i lozinke kao običan tekst, omogućujući bilo kojem zlonamjernom softveru da čita podatke. U maju 2017. dodana je podrška za kriptovanje osjetljivih podataka, 10 godina nakon što je prvi put zatraženo.[3] Kosse, autor aplikacije, tvrdio je da ta funkcija nužno ne povećava sigurnost, sve dok operativni sistem nije siguran.[4]
