FreeSBIE je tzv. Live CD baziran na FreeBSD operativnom sistemu. Trenutno koristi xfce (softverska radna površina) i Fluxbox (upravnik za slaganje prozora).
FreeSBIE 1.0 je bio baziran na FreeBSD 5.2.1 i izdat je 27. februara 2004. Sljedeća verzija, FreeSBIE 2, je napravljena u ljetu 2005. na godišnjem organizovanom programu Google Summer of Code. FreeBSD 2.0.1 je preuređena verzija bazirana na FreeBSD 6.2 i izdana je 10. februara 2007. Prema web sajtu DistroWatch, ovaj projekat je napušten.[1]
