Junktofilin 4 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom JPH4. [5]

Ovaj gen kodira člana porodice junktofilinskih transmembranskih proteina koji su uključeni u stvaranje kompleksa spojnih membrana između plazmamembrane i endoplazme /
sarkoplazmatskog retikuluma u pobuđenimim ćelijama. Kodirani protein sadrži konzerviranu regiju ponavljanja N-kraja koja se naziva sekvencom zauzimanja i prepoznavanja neksusa membrane koja se nalazi u drugih članova porodice junktofilina. Alternativna prerada rezultira u više varijanti transkripta.
